Yes! Unique to our Hawaii restaurant, you can upgrade your boil experience with fresh, sweet Kauai Local Shrimp, known for its incredible texture and stunning flavor. How do reservations and the waitlist work at SALT at Our Kakaʻako?
We handle seating exclusively on a first-come, first-served basis (walk-ins only); we do not accept reservations. Because we are a popular neighborhood gathering spot, wait times can build up during dinner hours and weekends. The good news? You can check in with our host, add your name to the waitlist, and explore Kakaʻako’s beautiful street murals and local boutiques while you wait. Just remember that your whole party must be present to be seated!

Absolutely. You can easily order takeout in person or place an order online through our website for a quick pickup. We pack everything up so you can enjoy your signature The Whole Sha-Bang!® boil, fried baskets, and sides from your Waikiki hotel room or your favorite beach spot. Delivery options are also available via third-party apps depending on your location in town.
What should I wear? Is beachwear okay?
Casual attire, aloha shirts, and comfortable beachwear are perfectly fine! We just highly recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty. Eating a seafood boil is a hands-on, interactive experience. We provide plastic bibs, protect the tables with butcher paper, and supply plenty of napkins—but when you're cracking into fresh crab and juicy shrimp, things will get delightfully messy!
